Connecting the Dots is a unique learning experience for students aged 16-18.

Connecting the Dots learning provides students aged 16-18 with the skills, tools and insights to become selfleaders: able to identify and articulate meaningful goals and to take ownership of their personal development and performance.

A Unique Learning Experience

Connecting the Dots is a unique learning experience for students aged 16-18. Drawing on highly regarded and well-established research, theories and models, it delivers engaging, creative and action-oriented learning and development.

Students develop the skills to navigate life beyond structured education, to explore and define their personal paths, make confident decisions and sustain their well-being.

Identity

To build self-knowledge, we explore everything that makes each of us, uniquely, us.

Insight

We take students’ learning about themselves and explore how beliefs and thought patterns impact behaviour.

Impact

We convert the learning from Identity and Insight into personal action and accountability.

Creating self-leaders

Connecting the Dots is about preparing and equipping young people with the self-knowledge and skills to become self-leaders: able to define their own goals, to lead themselves and others with purpose, to pursue outcomes that are meaningful and supportive of their long-term well-being.

“Too often, education is about ticking boxes and jumping through hoops. Real education is about helping young people discover who they are and what they’re here to do”.

Sir Anthony Seldon

The Path to Success

Between the ages of 16 and 18, the goals and ambitions for driven young people are clear and, often, defined by external expectations: strong academic performance, extra-curricular success, first-choice University place and (eventually) a good degree. But beyond that, the path to “success” can seem less certain; the clear markers of achievement that always existed are suddenly, less visible and other people’s expectations no longer enough to guide the way.

Connecting the Dots is about helping students to identify and articulate clear personal goals based upon deep self-knowledge and insight.
